We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support for the business.

With the guidance from the government we would like to advise all our customers that we will be running our auctions remotely, as online and commission bid only sales until we are told it is safe to re-open our doors. To ensure the safety of everyone we are now closed to the public.

There are many ways you can still bid with us, including five online bidding platforms:

In addition to live bidding online, there is an online auto-bidding facility for those otherwise occupied at the time of the auction. Alternatively, you can call or email us to organise a telephone bid or submit a commission bid.

Full condition reports can be provided upon request, please contact us by email to obtain further information on lots you may be interested in, we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

If you are a successful bidder, we do realise that the collection and sending of items may take longer than usual. Items that are purchased in our sales can be sent out via post where possible (please contact us in advance regarding an estimated P&P cost). Alternatively, we are happy to hold items, once paid for, free of charge until we are instructed it is safe to open the doors to the public again.

We would request that payment be made by bank transfer or by card over the telephone as we are not accepting cash payments and will not permit the public to enter the saleroom, thank you for your understanding with regards to this.

Due to the government restrictions, there will be a very limited presence at the saleroom so patience and understanding will be appreciated with regards to possible delays on our usual fast and effective postage services etc.

We hope our auction, and the great pieces we have for sale will provide some much needed light relief for you during these testing times. Keep safe!

The Claydon Team

Preferred form of contact is email, thank you
